The self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto broke off settlement talks with the estate of his late partner, who wants half of a 1.1 million bitcoin cache bitcoin’s creator should own

In the latest act of the Craig Wright Follies, the self-proclaimed Satoshi is claiming poverty. Okay, maybe not poverty, exactly, but he has apparently backed out of a settlement deal to resolve the $10 billion lawsuit by the estate of his late partner, Dave Kleiman. Wright and Wrong: Bitcoin SV billionaire loses another round to Ira Kleiman

Conflicting statements and a fraudulent piece of evidence doom Craig Wright’s attempt to toss out a lawsuit that could cost him billions

When a judge denies your motion to throw out a lawsuit against you by quoting Sir Walter Scott’s famous line, “Oh! What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive,” it’s not a good thing. Thus it’s fair to say, nChain founder Craig Wright, the Bitcoin SV (BSV) backer and self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, did not have a good day in court on August 15. Although, to be fair, he wasn’t threatened with handcuffs this time.

Wright was nearly jailed last week after throwing a document while on the stand in a Florida courtroom, in a case that could prove if he is the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto.
